Bell - Lilac

Start at the top of the dome. Rounds 1-6 form a flat disc; round n has 6n stitches.

  1. MR, 6 sc into the ring. (6 sts)
  2. Inc x6 (12 sts)
  3. [Sc 1, inc] x6 (18 sts)
  4. [Sc 2, inc] x6 (24 sts)
  5. [Sc 3, inc] x6 (30 sts)
  6. [Sc 4, inc] x6 (36 sts)
  7. Sc around. (36 sts)

Tentacles (make 6) - Candy Pink

  1. Ch 31. (31 ch sts)
  2. Sc in the 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Fasten off, leaving a 25 cm tail for sewing. The strip is about 19 cm long and will curl on its own. (30 sc sts)

Assembly

  1. Thread the long tail from the bell through the front loops of the last round to gather it into a firm 12-stitch ring, but do not pull it closed. (— sts)
  2. Sew each tentacle by its start tail to every second stitch of the 12-stitch ring (6 tentacles in total), stitching each one twice. (— sts)
  3. Sew three or four small spots on the bell with Candy Pink, and add Blush blush circles under the eyes if you like. (— sts)
