Notes
- 72 sts divides by 6 into exactly 12 drawstring eyelets.
- Straps are worked in BLO so they curve slightly along their length — that curve is what makes them sit flat on shoulders instead of digging in.

Straps (make 2) — Terracotta

- Repeat row 2 until the strap measures 60 cm — about 90 rows at this gauge. Hold it against your back and adjust before fastening off. (5 sc x about 90 rows = 60 cm sts)
- Fold in half lengthways and whip stitch closed for a padded cord, or leave flat for a wider strap. (— sts)
- Sew the top of each strap to the back of the bag, 8 sts apart, just under the eyelet round. Sew the bottom of each strap to the base seam, 12 sts apart. Reinforce every join twice. (— sts)
