How to work it

1. Round 1 of mesh: [ch 5, skip 2 sts, sc in next st] repeated around.
2. Following rounds: [ch 5, sc into the centre of the next ch-5 loop] around.
3. Count LOOPS, not chains — the loop count must stay identical every round.

Tips

• Sc into the loop itself, not into a chain, so the net stays even and stretchy.
